On 21 December 2025, TFT brought growers together for a Learn As You Do learning tour at Kutsaga, followed by a braai and end-of-year get-together at Falcon Golf Course in Hatfield.
Learning at Kutsaga
The learning tour took growers into the research and production environment at Kutsaga. The photographs capture discussions around the barns, tobacco on curing racks and participants engaging during the visit.
This is the purpose of LAYD: creating opportunities to see farming practices first-hand, ask questions and learn together.
Coming together in Hatfield
After the learning tour, the programme continued with a braai and end-of-year get-together at Falcon Golf Course in Hatfield. The gathering provided time for members to connect and close the year together.
By combining practical learning with time together as a community, TFT continues to build relationships that extend beyond individual farms.
Learning together. Celebrating together. Growing together.
